Béni soit le Bienheureux Frère Charles pour le
Mois de Nazareth et la retraite/rencontre qui viennent d’avoir lieu à
Ouagadougou au Burkina-Faso !
Des fraternités et les frères de l’Afrique ont pu
se réunir, après plus de dix ans pour vivre un temps fort de la Fraternité.
Nous nous faisons un devoir de vous donner au vif
des échos du temps de grâce vécu : grâce des retrouvailles de plus de
vingt frères venant de dix pays différents dont sept de l’Afrique quelques uns
de l’Europe (France, Belgique, Suisse) et notre Responsable International,
Abraham APOLINARIO.

la personne d’ Evariste OUEDRAOGO, du Burkina-Faso qui a choisi comme
collaborateur Paul LUSHOMBO, de
Que tous ceux et celles (Petites Sœurs de Jésus…)
qui ont été attentifs et qui ont contribué d’une manière ou d’une autre à la
réussite de ce temps fort trouvent ici l’expression de la profonde gratitude de
leurs d’Afrique.
Frères, nous comptons sur vos prières et vos
soutiens divers pour que s’enracine et se déploie à travers les Fraternité
d’Afrique, les charismes du Bienheureux Charles afin de conduire les hommes et
les femmes au Christ le Nazaréen, pour
la gloire de Dieu et le salut du monde !

TO ALL BROTHERS:
Dear brothers,
Blessed is our Brother and Lord Jesus of Nazareth!
Blessed is our Brother Charles for the Month of Nazareth and the Retreat/meet which have just taken place at Ouagadougou in Burkina-Faso!
Fraternities and brothers of Africa were able to meet, after more than ten years, in order to live an intense time of fraternity.
We feel that it is our duty to give you echoes of the time of grace we lived: the grace of gathering of twenty brothers coming from ten different countries including seven from Africa, some from Europe (France, Belgium, and Switzerland) and our International Responsible, Abraham APOLINARIO.
Each one appreciated the fraternal and discrete presence of Mgr. Philippe OUEDRAOGO, Bishop of Ouahigouya, member of the Fraternity. Grace of the location: the Grand Seminary St Peter St Paul within the Kossoghen district that offered suitable surroundings for the participants. We also had the occasion to visit the Monastery of Honda of foucauldien inspiration and meet Little Brother Emmanuel KALMOGO along with its eight postulants. The grace of the Brother Charles’ family support in Burkina-Faso (Little Sisters of Jesus, Fraternity Secular and Consecrated Lay persons ) which was especially manifested during the Retreat’s Mass of Closure (August 19, 2007) in the Grand Seminary’s Chapel and the fraternal dinner which took place thereafter.
For the majority of us, it was our first Month of Nazareth and it has been full of discoveries: fraternity lived, a more profound knowledge of Brother Charles, application of means that the JESUS CARITAS FRATERNITY OF PRIESTS offers to help follow better the Beloved Jesus of Nazareth.
The invaluable assistance of Jacques MIDY led each one of us in this direction. The spiritual Retreat given like a teacher by Jean-Marie PASQUIER and centered on Nazareth was intensely lived in an atmosphere of meditation and fraternal sharing.
The number of participants was maintained, in spite of various arrivals and departures, due to the flow of brothers that came for the Month of Nazareth and the Spiritual Retirement (July 22 at August 19) and those for the Retreat/meet (11 to August 23). The meeting, element essential of this great encounter gathered, about fifteen brothers including two coming from North Africa (Morocco and Algeria), twelve brothers from five countries from Africa Sub-saharien (Madagascar, Rwanda, DRC, Central Africa, Burkina-Faso) and our International Responsible.
In prayers, we reflected upon the future of the fraternities of Africa. Based on our findings we laid down the orientations to be followed, we also elected a Delegate of Africa Sub-saharien in the person of Evariste OUEDRAOGO, of Burkina-Faso who chose as collaborator Paul LUSHOMBO, of the DRC. In agreement with everyone wishes, Mgr. Philippe OUEDRAOGO will be of counsel. Along with the delegate of the Region of Magrebh/sMasresch, Marc BOUCROT, they will form a Coordination Team to accompany and animate our fraternities, in communion with the International Team and other continents.
To all those (Little Sisters of Jesus...) which were attentive and contributed one way or another to the success of this intense experience, find here the expression of deep gratitude of theirs of Africa.
Brothers, we count on your prayers and various supports to enable deep rooting and spreading of Blessed Charles’ charismas throughout the Fraternities of Africa to lead the men and the women to Christ the Nazarene, for the glory of God and the salvation of mankind!

A TODOS LOS HERMANOS:
Queridos hermanos,
¡Bendito sea nuestro Hermano y Señor Jesús de Nazaret!
¡Bendito sea el Bienaventurado Hermano Carlos por el Mes de Nazaret y el Retiro/encuentro que acaba de tener lugar en Uagadougou, Burkina-Faso! Fraternidades y hermanos de África pudieron reunirse, después más de diez años para vivir un tiempo de Fraternidad.
Sentimos que es nuestro deber hacerles llegar en vivo los ecos de este tiempo de gracia vivido: gracia del encuentro de más de veinte hermanos procedentes de diez países diferentes, siete de África y otros de Europa (Francia, Bélgica, Suiza) y nuestro Responsable Internacional, Abraham APOLINARIO.
Todos supimos apreciar la presencia fraternal y discreta de Mons. Philippe OUEDRAOGO, Obispo de Ouahigouya, miembro de la Fraternidad.
La gracia de los lugares: el Seminario Mayor San Pedro y San Pablo del sector Kossoghen ofreció un marco adecuado a los participantes que tuvimos también la ocasión de visitar el Monasterio de Honda de inspiración fucoldiana y conocer al Hermanito Emmanuel KALMOGO, con sus ocho aspirantes.
La gracia del apoyo de la familia del Hermano Carlos en Burkina-Faso (Hermanitas de Jesús, Fraternidad Secular y Laicos Consagrados) que se manifestó en la Eucaristía de Clausura del Retiro (19 de agosto de 2007), en la capilla del Seminario Mayor y en el encuentro fraterno que se tuvo luego.
Para la mayoría de entre nosotros, era el primer mes de Nazaret, lleno de descubrimientos: la fraternidad vivida, profundización del conocimiento de Hermano Carlos, puesta en práctica de los medios que ofrece la Fraternidad Sacerdotal JESUS CARITAS para seguir mejor al Bien Amado Jesús de Nazaret. La ayuda preciosa de Jacques MIDY animó a cada uno nosotros en este sentido. El Retiro Espiritual conducido magistralmente por Jean-Marie PASQUIER y orientado sobre Nazaret se vivió intensamente en un clima de recogimiento y fraternidad.
El grupo de los participantes se mantuvo, a pesar de los flujos y reflujos de las llegadas y salidas de los hermanos que vinieron para el Mes de Nazaret y el Retiro Espiritual (22 de julio al 19 de Agosto) o para el encuentro (11 al 23 de Agosto), que reunió unos quince hermanos: dos de la región de África Septentrional (Marruecos y Argelia), doce hermanos de cinco países de África Sub-sahariana (Madagascar, Ruanda, RDC, África Central, Burkina-Faso) y el Responsable Internacional.
En un clima de oración, reflexionamos sobre el futuro de las fraternidades de África. Luego elegimos un Delegado para el África Sub-sahariana en la persona de Evariste OUEDRAOGO, de Burkina-Faso, quien escogió como colaborador a Paul LUSHOMBO, del RDC. Junto al delegado de la Región de Magrebh/Masresch, Marc BOUCROT, integrarán una coordinación con el fin de ir acompañando y animando nuestra fraternidad, en comunión con el Equipo Internacional y los otros continentes. Mons. Philippe OUEDRAOGO aceptó ser su asesor.
A todos y a todas (Hermanitas de Jesús...) que estuvieron atentos y que contribuyeron de una manera u otra al éxito de este tiempo fuerte les llegue nuestra profunda gratitud desde África.
¡Hermanos, contamos con sus oraciones y su apoyo para que se arraigue y se despliegue a través de la Fraternidad de África, el carisma del Bienaventurado Carlos con el fin de conducir hombres y mujeres a Jesús el Nazareno, para la gloria de Dios y la salud del mundo!
